About
In Sanskrit नयन (nayana) means “the eye”. Nayana is my way of seeing things in photography but also in life!
“Life is like a camera. Focus on what’s important. Capture the good times. Develop from the negatives. And if things don’t work out, just take another shot.” — Ziad Abdelnour
That pretty much sums up my professional path… After exploring the dark ways of financial markets, twirling a few years on stage as a dancer, elaborating alternative gluten and dairy-free dishes, I finally listened to my heart and dove into my lifelong passion: photography. It allows me to embellish my reality, my daily life. It helps me see my life and yours differently!
I dance, I sing, I participate in musicals and I cook. I love to travel, I love the sun, the sea, the ocean, the sound of the waves, the hot sand under my feet. I love organizing events, dressing myself up and party. I love just as much laying down on my couch with a cup of tea, either to enjoy a good book, or to meditate in the serenity of the moment.
I love being behind my camera but also in front of one when the opportunity arises! When I take pictures, nothing matters to me and especially not what people think. If I have to assume a goofy posture, so be it…
My priorities during photo shoots are to tell your story, to show you in your best light, but also to capture sincere and deep moments, in a timeless style combining photo reportage and careful composition.
Do not hesitate to contact me to talk about your photographic project.

I live in Switzerland near Lake Geneva, but I willingly travel to Europe and beyond…
